The Learn to Row program is $75 for four sessions with an experienced coach. Those who choose to join the club after they have completed the Learn-to-Row program, pay an additional $75.
The Club hosts a LTR Introduction usually in late April at the Hudson River Maritime Museum (HRMM) located on the Rondout in Kingston. You'll learn about rowing and rowing safety and meet club members.
Participants participate in two on-land training sessions and two on-water training sessions. These sessions are usually held during the last two weeks of May and the first two weeks of June on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM.
Slots are limited.
A swimming test is required of all participants unless he or she is a certified lifeguard. The swim test is held at the YMCA in May.
