Membership
in the Rondout Rowing Club means enjoying the exercise, the beautiful
scenery, and having fun! To become a member, you must:
- Be at least 12 years of age
- Pay dues of $150 per year unless an exception is granted (e.g., students or others who cannot afford the dues; coaches; or those who make financial or payment-in-kind contributions other than dues)
- Discounted family and youth memberships are available
- Commit to a minimum of 12 hours volunteer time per year.
Members who row require:
- Proof that the member can tread water for 15 minutes and swim a distance of 100 feet
- Viewing of a US Rowing video about rowing safety
- A minimal rowing capability, which may be obtained by attending Learn-to-Row sessions
- A written sign-off from a Club coach to the effect that the rower has sufficient (if minimal) capability to row and familiarity with the Club’s safety rules

2010 annual membership fees:
Individual adult: $150
Family of 2 adults: $260
Family of 3 adults: $330
Family of 4 plus: $330
Youth & under 18: $90
